Sharp straight out of the box! Wether I’m slicing or chopping, it feels so nice in the hand and makes short work of whatever I’m cutting through. I have been using this knife for the past two weeks in the kitchen and at my outdoor barbecues and it has not disappointed. The materials and details put into this “folding” kitchen knife warrant the price imo.
